I’m a retired Navy Master Chief. Former Pastor of churches in Tennessee and remote Alaska, and current pastor of a small Baptist church in Indiana. Published writer in Naval Institute Proceedings Magazine, including Enlisted Essay contest winner in 2000. I never drank coffee until I was in the Navy. After standing 12-hour watches at sea for a couple of months, I hooked up the java IV. I love to kayak. I’m blessed to be married to the absolute best human being in the world. Not to mention a fantabulous wife and mother of our two precious daughters. We have a third daughter, our first-born actually, who is in heaven. I love sports, and had the privilege to broadcast high school basketball games on the radio in remote Alaska villages. I’m 50+, but that don’t bother me. I’ve been to 49 states and about 20 countries….and I hope to see more, some via kayak with my wife. The missing state? North Dakota. Life is a blessing and the present is a gift….live it while it’s here!
